CBS Distinguished Speaker Series: A Conversation with Lew Frankfort, Former CEO, Coach image

In partnership with the Retail & Luxury Goods Club (RLG), the Columbia Business School Distinguished Speaker Series presents a conversation with Lew Frankfort, Chairman Emeritus of Coach, Inc. Over 35 years, including nearly three decades as Chairman and CEO, Frankfort transformed Coach from a small leather goods business into a $5 billion global lifestyle brand. He was recognized among Barron’s 30 Most Respected CEOs around the World and one of Institutional Investor’s Best CEOs in America. Following his retirement from Coach, Frankfort co-founded Benvolio Group, an investment firm supporting early-stage consumer brands, where he continues to advise senior leaders. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade in New York City government, including as Commissioner of the Agency for Child Development, where he revitalized the city’s Head Start and day care programs. A Bronx native, Frankfort holds degrees from Hunter College and Columbia Business School. This discussion will be moderated by Silvia Bellezza, Associate Professor of Business in Marketing at Columbia Business School. The first 50 attendees will receive a copy of Frankfort's new book, Bag Man. This in-person-only event will be held at Columbia Business School in Geffen Hall's Cooperman Commons and is limited to Columbia University community members and invited guests. You must present a Columbia University or government-issued ID that matches the name used on your registration to enter. Invitations are non-transferable.
