Join us for an in-person Down to Earth Career Talk featuring Cassandra Martynow, Director of Sustainability at Sun Life, and Olivia Johnson, Business Development Representative at First Street.

Cassandra will share her path into corporate sustainability through sustainability consulting and academia, including how she leveraged more traditional skill sets to transition into the field. She will also provide an overview of Sun Life’s sustainability strategy, the structure of its sustainability teams, and the range of work they support.
Olivia will discuss her path from graduate school to industry, including her summer internship at Sun Life during the final semester of her program and her current role in business development at First Street. Olivia studied Science, Technology, and International Affairs at Georgetown University and earned her MA in Climate & Society from the Columbia Climate School, where she specialized in disaster risk management. Outside of work, she enjoys baking sourdough, watching Industry with her two cats, and trying new hotpot restaurants around the city.
