He serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including the Bank Policy Institute, FCLTGlobal, the MIT CEO Advisory Board, and the Institute of International Finance. In 2024, he was named Chair of the Financial Services Taskforce under the Sustainable Markets Initiative, leading efforts to unite industries and sectors in the transition to net zero. Venkat holds S.B., S.M., and Ph.D. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
