Join the Tamer Institute for Social Enterprise and Climate Change at Columbia Business School for a conversation with Tim Latimer, co-founder and CEO of Fervo Energy, the world’s most advanced next-generation geothermal energy. Under Tim's leadership, Fervo recently completed the largest clean energy IPO in history, raising $1.9 billion in May 2026. In conversation with Professor Usher, Latimer will share perspectives from the frontlines of building and scaling new energy technologies and discuss the role of geothermal in meeting growing power demand from data centers, accelerating the clean energy transition, and reshaping the future of the global energy system. Presented in collaboration with the Columbia Climate School, this conversation is featured as part of the Columbia Business School Distinguished Speaker Series and Columbia’s Climate Week programming.
