We are pleased to welcome members of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), who will share their experiences in distressed investing, M&A investment banking including navigating liability management exercises, bankruptcy and bankruptcy alternatives. The panel will include experts in distressed investing, financial advisory, and legal, and experts who focus on maximizing value of specific asset classes.
TMA is one of the premier networking and educational organizations for bankruptcy, restructuring and turnaround investors and professionals. TMA members are a professional community who seek to strengthen the global economy by working to save distressed businesses, assist management to navigate unplanned events, and help healthy companies avoid similar pitfalls.
The panelists will share their career paths including how they started in the space and the pivots they have made since, followed by a brief case study in which they will describe their respective roles as applied to the case study. Students are invited to join the TMA (free student memberships are offered) and panelists will also share their experiences in leveraging TMA’s networking and learning opportunities. Questions are encouraged throughout.
