Join the Student Leadership and Ethics Board (SLEB) for an interactive session unpacking the IBSC Learning Team Values Assignment from LEAD, featuring your fellow students’ ethical conflicts at work. Moderated by LEAD faculty member, Professor Adam Galinsky, the conversation will dig deeper into your peers’ experiences and offer frameworks for navigating these tenuous situations. We will also explore your Learning Team experience and connect the exercise to real-world ethical decision-making in business settings. Botwinick Prize in Business Ethics Honoring Ynon Kreiz, Chairman and CEO, Mattel

Each year, under the auspices of The Bernstein Center for Leadership and Ethics, The Botwinick Prize in Business Ethics is awarded to an individual exemplifying the highest standard of professional and ethical conduct, as well as ethical decision-making in any of the professions, including, but not limited to, accounting, advertising, architecture, health care, journalism, law, public service and social service. Managing Difficult Conversations (PPIL)

As part of the Leadership Development Series under the auspices of The Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership, this interactive workshop, facilitated by LEAD Professor Ashli Carter, is designed to help you transform difficult conversations into opportunities for learning. The session introduces a clear framework for understanding why conversations can escalate around sensitive and complex topics and empowers you to approach them with curiosity, respect, and empathy to achieve positive, mutually beneficial outcomes. Key Learning Objectives: Understand the complexities of difficult conversations Unpack strategies for handling sensitive dialogues Role-play personalized scenarios Attending this workshop will provide credit toward the Phillips Pathway for Inclusive Leadership (PPIL), focusing on the inclusive leadership skill of engaging in dialogue.
