Values in Practice: Revisiting the Values-Based Conflicts from LEAD image

Join the Student Leadership and Ethics Board (SLEB) for Values in Practice, a student-led discussion and reflection on the Class of 2027 IBSC Learning Team Values Exercise. Facilitated by SLEB Co-Chairs, Hope Goldman '26, and Katherine Smart '26, this interactive session will unpack the values-based conflicts explored in LEAD, providing a supportive space for open dialogue on real-world decision-making in the context of business. The conversation will also highlight the Learning Team experience and how the exercise established trust and connection between members. This is an opportunity for first- and second-year students to engage deeply with peers on topics that shape your leadership journey. To ensure a respectful environment, all participants are expected to follow our code of conduct: be open, be respectful, be non-judgmental. Everyone is encouraged to share their perspectives while remaining courteous and considerate throughout the conversation. LEAD faculty member, Professor Rebecca Ponce de Leon, will provide commentary to help connect key learnings to LEAD and the CBS journey.
